I stopped down at the theatre – and by down, I mean downstairs. Not like I’m far away. But it’s amazing how you can end up not seeing the space for days, when you work on the admin side of the business.
So I stopped down and I saw the set-in-progress for Pump Boys. Beautiful.
For real – that’s a 1939 GMC pickup truck. The real deal. Apparently, the engine actually works.
The set is far from done in this photo, but the set is really looking beautiful. When it’s done, and it’s close now, it’ll look amazing. Previews start on Thursday. The show opens on Sunday – this Sunday. So the crew are in full swing. Tech and dress rehearsals are happening all week.
