Ms. Eleanor Ekovich is a current teaching artist with SOPA at Metropolis! Her journey began over 10 years ago as a summer camper in the “Curtains Up!” program. Eleanor’s love of musical theatre led her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre with a Dance Concentration from The Chicago College of Performing Arts in May 2024. In addition to her SOPA acting roles, Eleanor has been blessed to work on Metropolis productions such as Ragtime (performer), Willy Wonka JR (choreographer), and Green Eggs and Ham (director). Additional experience includes countless stage productions, films, and national commercials. Eleanor has been a choreographer and dance teacher for over 5 years. Her pom dance choreography was broadcast on ESPN and she is an All-American Athlete awarded by The United Dance Association.
