Metropolis Performing Arts Centre has announced a comprehensive matching gift campaign to Revitalize our operations, Strengthen our connection to the community, and Secure Our Future by December 31st.

We invite you to help us achieve our goal of $571,000.

Thanks to significant pledges from the Village of Arlington Heights Arts & Entertainment Reserved Fund and dedicated Metropolis stakeholders, all donations will be MATCHED, dollar for dollar, up to $300,000.

At Metropolis, we are more than a professional live theatre, we are a vital organization providing the village and surrounding communities with hundreds of impactful professional performances, exceptional educational opportunities, and inspirational community engagement programs. Each year, more than 2,500 local actors, musicians, dancers and students perform and learn at Metropolis, and as many as 60,000 people participate in our programming or attend a show at our theatre.

Here’s how your support will make a difference:

• REVITALIZE: With the rising cost of goods and the rapid increases in cost of living, Metropolis is facing an operational challenge like many performing arts venues around the country. It’s becoming more difficult and more expensive to offer these services to our community.

With your help we will meet these rising costs, and reach and retain the talented artists and administrators that make Metropolis so special.
