Metropolis is located in the heart of Chicago’s northwest suburbs in downtown Arlington Heights near the intersection of Campbell Street and Vail Avenue (111 W. Campbell).

The Union Pacific Northwest Metra line stops at the downtown Arlington Heights train station just two blocks from our front doors.

Weekday, post-show, Chicago-bound trains depart this station at 9:24 pm, 10:24 pm, and 11:19 pm.
Weekday, post-show, outboard trains depart this station at 9:21 pm, 10:21 pm and 11:21 pm.

Saturday, post-show, Chicago-bound trains depart this station at 9:32 pm, and 10:32 pm.
Saturday, post-show, outbound trains depart this station at 9:32 pm.

Sunday, post-matinee, Chicago-bound trains depart this station at 5:32 pm, 7:32 pm, and 9:32 pm.
Sunday, post-matinee, outbound trains depart this station at 5:16 pm, 6:02 pm, 6:26 pm, 7:16 pm, and 9:16 pm.

Free parking is available on area streets and in the garage behind the theatre.

• Level 1:
  • free 4-hour parking from 5 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • unlimited from 6 p.m. – 2 a.m.
• Levels 4 & 5:
  • daily fee parking from 5 a.m. – Noon
  • free parking from Noon – 2 a.m.

(Saturday & Sunday)

• Free from 5 a.m. – 2 a.m. on levels 1, 4 & 5.

Alfresco returns to downtown Arlington Heights, Friday, April 29th, through September.

Arlington Alfresco is a popular, pedestrian friendly experience, that features additional outdoor dining space for restaurants in downtown Arlington Heights.

Portions of Campbell Street and Vail Avenue will be closed during this time.
