Summer 2017

MUSICAL THEATRE

Broadway Melodies: Disney’s Most Wanted

We all know the songs of our favorite Disney heroes, but what about those sung by characters who have a slightly different story to tell? From Ursula to Cruella, from Gaston to Scar, students step into the shoes (or paws) of these famous villains to explore their sides of the story through song and dance. Family and friends are invited to a short performance on the last day of class.

  • Grades 1-3, Mondays, 4:00-5:00 pm, $125

Broadway Melodies: School-Age Scene Stealers

What do musicals like Annie, Newsies, Matilda, and Oliver have in common? Their stories are dominated by powerhouse performers who have yet to graduate! Come “Seize the Day” with us this summer as we explore what “Tomorrow” will bring “When I Grow Up.” Family and friends are invited to a short performance on the last day of class.

  • Grades 4-6, Mondays, 5:00-6:00 pm, $125

Broadway Melodies: The Room Where It Happens

Don’t throw away your shot to perform showstopping numbers from Broadway’s trendiest musicals like Hamilton, Wicked, Les Miserables, and more! Students will dive into the worlds of these modern marvels and will surface as rapping revolutionaries in search of a wizard...or something like that. Family and friends are invited to a short performance on the last day of class.

  • Grades 7-12, Mondays, 6:00-7:30 pm, $185

No Strings Attached

  • Grades 4-8, Tuesdays, 5:00-6:00 pm, $150

No previous experience necessary. Family and friends are invited to a short performance on the last day of class.

  • Grades 7-12, Tuesdays, 6:00-7:30 pm, $185

Whose Class Is It Anyway?

Created in the style of the popular TV game show, this class encourages students to explore the fun and fast-paced world of improvisation! Students learn to take risks, think on their feet, stay focused and be ready for anything. Students work on creating original characters, interesting stories, hilarious scenes, and supporting their cast mates. Family and friends are invited to a short performance on the last day of class.

  • Grades 4-6, Wednesdays, 5:00-6:00 pm, $125

All Girl Improv

Imagine a class filled with the likes of Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, and Kate McKinnon: sounds pretty great, right? We hope these famously funny females would approve of this class where we’ll learn to think on our feet, create original characters, and build confidence while working together as a team. So, what’s the answer to the age-old question, “who run the world?” Girls. And they run this improv class, too. Family and friends are invited to a short performance on the last day of class.

  • Grades 4-6, Wednesdays, 5:00-6:00 pm, $125
  • Grades 7-12, Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30 pm, $185
